The paper notes: “Emotion vectors are primarily ‘local’ representations — they encode the operative emotional content most relevant to the model’s current or upcoming output.” ¹ In brand-user relationships, the same dynamic unfolds at a slower scale: the emotional shift from Trust toward Remorse builds across multiple conversations — weeks or months — before the cancellation event.
